RTD participates in St. Patrick's Day Parade

Brandon Figliolino

There wasn’t a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. . . it was the RTD parade bus! For the second consecutive year, RTD team members donned their favorite shade of green and marched in the largest St. Patrick’s Day Parade west of the Mississippi. They were welcomed by cheers, claps, high-fives and a catchy chant: “R-T-D-!, R-T-D-!”

This year, RTD was represented by Board Directors and employees from the following departments: Administration, Communications and Engagement, Legal Counsel, Service Planning and Development, and Bus Operations. Marchers waved signs promoting transit and hyped up the crowd as the parade snaked through lower downtown.

Where will RTD team members appear next? Check the Community Calendar. The team will be out in the community this spring and summer, thanking customers for taking transit, answering questions about RTD services and inspiring new transit customers.

Organizations interested in hosting RTD for a presentation, event or other activity are encouraged to submit an Appearance Request. Please submit requests at least three weeks prior to the scheduled event.
